Terms and Conditions

All correspondence/s in respect of Tours / Travel Service bookings should be addressed to: Heritage Holiday Himachal as per contact details on the website. 

1. Meter reading will be taken from and to our office. 
2. Our rates are based on a minimum of 250 km per day on long-term hire.
3. Parking, toll charges and driver allowances extra.
4. State taxes paid by the hirer.
5. 4.94% Service Tax chargeable as extra.
6. Longer tours on very attractive rates (more than 3 days).
7. 15 seater day hire rates will be given on request.
8. Driver allowance charges Rs 200 to Rs 300 per day depending on car.
9. Total itinerary rate per day depends on the current exchange rate plus addition of allowances and service tax.
10. Once the booking is initially made full cost will be forwarded to you as soon as possible.

Payments:

For the services contracted, some advance payment should be made to hold the booking on a confirmed basis and the balance amount can be paid either before your departure from your country or upon arrival in INDIA – but definitely before the commencement of the services. We hold the right to decide upon the amount to be paid as an advance payment, based on the nature of services and the time left for the commencement of the services.

Mode of Payment:

1) By direct credit transfer to our bank in UK. Bank details will be forwarded to you.

2) For bookings in India our Delhi office will forward you payment details.

Notes: 
1) All payments should be free and clear of any withholding tax and deduction. 
2) Bank charges, if any, for remittance (by remitting bank or by intermediary bank) would be strictly borne by payer. 
3) Prices quoted on website are in INR ( Indian Rupees). Any fluctuations resulting in a shortfall must be met by you upon arrival.

Policy Regarding Cancellation / NO SHOW / EARLY DEPARTURE:
In case of cancellation of tour/travel services due to any avoidable/unavoidable reason/s we must be informed in writing. Cancellation charges would be effective from the date we receive letter in writing and cancellation charges would be as follows:

Up to 15 days & prior to arrival - 20% of the tour/service cost

07 days & less, prior to arrival or no show – 50% of the tour/service cost

Please Note – Irrespective of the above mentioned cancellation slabs, in case of cancellation of tour services after the booking is made with us – a minimum 10% service charges would be applicable.

In case you cancel the trip after commencement refund would be restricted to a limited amount that too would depend on the prevailing circumstances and no guarantee on any amount is given and refund amount depends upon the discretion of the management.

Refund:
In regard to refund of unused / unutilised services (which are paid for and cancelled in advance) the refund amount would be worked out on the basis of cancellation policy as described above and the money would be accordingly refunded to the person who has made the payment to us. Please note that the refund process may take 2 - 4 weeks due to banking procedures. If the refund were made to your bank account, the bank charges would be debited from the refund amount.

Our liabilities & limitations:
Please note that after the finalisation of the tour / service cost, if there are any increment in entrance fees of monuments/museums, taxes, fuel cost or guide charges by the Govt. of India, the same would be charged as extra.

We shall not be responsible for any delays & alterations in the programme or expenses incurred – directly or indirectly – due to natural hazards, flight cancellations, accident, breakdown of machinery or equipment, breakdown of transport, weather, sickness, landslides, political closures or any untoward incidents.

We do not have any insurance policy covering the expenses for accident, sickness, loss due to theft, or any other reasons. Visitors are advised to seek such travel insurance arrangements in their home country. All baggage & personal property/s at all times are at the client’s risk.

We encourage you to have a fully comprehensive Travel and Sickness insurance including air assistance back home from your country of origin.
